Beetroot Rceipe for controlling weight.

Beetroot is really one of the amazing vegetables that we have to assist us. Boil a few whole beetroot with the stems trimmed until they are soft and a knife slides through them easily. This usually take 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the beetroot.

Drain and allow to cool. Once cool, then peel and clean the beetroot. Slice beetrrot into relatively small slices.

Peel and chop onion (about 25% of the amount of beetroot used) and lightly fry in sunflower oil over a low heat until soft. 

Add beetroot and allow to simmer for ten to 15 minutes. Add some seasoning of personal choice – salt, pepper, or garlic.

Eat either hot or cold.

This recipe is guaranteed to get your stomach working and will assist in controlling weight and blood pressure at the same time as being a healthy salad.
