Losing weight and dieting consumes the thoughts and minds of so many obese and overweight people and the first thought that occupies their minds is diet. Diet is the most common form of attempting to lose weight, and yet research shows that dieting is in fact highly ineffective when it comes to weight loss.
Almost 95% of weight lost through dieting will come back once you stop the diet. Starvation does not work. A recent independant study showed that in total weight loss efforts, only 20 % of weight lost can be attributed to dieting and the food that you eat. A further 15 % of weight lost can be attributed to the excercise regimen. The balance of some 65 % is attributed to the way you think. Faith!
How do we use faith to lose fat. First you have to look at your eating patterns. I am not talking about your regular way of eating, but am referring to what makes you go on those food binges and what attracts you to all those foods that you should not be eating. Some of the common reasons are loneliness, anger,despair,feeling helpless, anxiety, nerves, stress, and many other emotional factors.
Once you have identified which of these emotional factors are causing you to overindulge and get fat, you can start to apply your faith to overcome this root cause of weight gain to eliminate this factor from your life, which will in turn cause you to lose weight. You were not born fat. You were born slim, healthy and beautiful, and that is the state to which we want to return you to.
