The main reasons for the regulations on these tablets is the fact that firstly, the ingredient, d-Norpseudoephedrine Hydrochloride,  is also one of the key ingredients for the manufacture of the drug “CAT”. Cat is a highly addictive drug that has sown misery throughout the world, leaving many in total wreck and ruin from it’s highly destructive properties. The second reason for the regulations on Thinz is due to the drug being an amphetamine, which is mildly addictive, similar to caffeine. The users of Thinz were slowly becoming addicted to the product and hence the reason for the great demand for the product and the total consumer loyalty to Thinz.

Diet pills consist of a few different categories. There are pills such as Proactal, which are what they call fat blockers. These pills are designed to remove the fat from the food, prior to the fat being absorbed by the body, resulting in a decrease in calorie uptake by the system. Fat blockers such as Proactal do work and can be very effective in helping you lose weight. However as soon as you discontinue these pills, you system suddenly recognises the additional calories available in the food passing throught the system and stores these extra calories resulting in weight gain. 

The next category of diet pills are appetite suppressants. The most famous of these currently is Hoodia are as it is called by it’e full name, Hoodia Gordinii. This product stems from Southern Africa and is from a small succulent plant.
